Paris- Summer 2013 DAY 1
Assalamualaikum.
Hi everyone.
Seems like this is my first time travelling out from UK since I arrived. I was really excited because I never been there. LOL. It took months for Me and my friends to plan this trip. Since Ryannair, one of the cheapest airlines in Europe opened for the promotion tickets, we quickly bought tickets for Paris. Yeay!
This was 4 days and 3 nights trip. Me, and others(durra, adilah, k,dila and michelle) had quick surveyed upon the accommodations while we stayed in Paris. It was quite hard actually to find one that most suitable and well reached to all attractions in the city of Paris. Thus, we decided to stay in Hotell xxx(cannot remember la),offered the cheapest rate and have nice feedbacks from the tourists. A tip for travellers. Always go for reviews. We read a lots lot of( no kidding) just to make sure we got the best place for rest while we were travelling. The rooms is really nice. It can fit 4 peoples in the rooms. Since it is too hard to find a rooms that can fit 5 peoples, we 'smuggled' one of us. Haha.. takot2 buat kerja jahat time tu.. tapi terpaksa. :)
Our flight was on the early afternoon. We got a private hire car from Glasgow and it took about 45 minutes to arrive. Seb baik abang tu baguih. Siap suruh call bila nak balik nanti. He is an actor. Trust me. He even showed us his portfolio. Semangat naww. haha
So after bump into flight, we get excited after everyone took photo for 'selfie'.. Hmm.. Kids nowaday. :P . The flight to Paris is only took about 1 hours and 45 minutes, if I am not mistaken. We arrive at Paris Beauvais (BOW-VA) Airport at the evening and decided to go to the nearest underground train by bus. The fares is about 16 Euro per person. It was so easy to reach there (Thank to GOD) because everyone will go to the same place from the airport.
When we arrived, we bought tickets at the ticket machine, to find the hotel. However, when you are in Paris, you should be careful because there might be pick pockets somewhere around you. Look up into your things, Do Not trust anyone easily especially when buy tickets at the ticket machine. So that day, it was our turn to bought ticket, there were two 'mamat paris' ni tunggu kat machine tu. They told that they want to help us to buy the tickets. We strictly refused their help kindly, and everyone conquered that machine. Hahaha Terpaksa dek... Otherwise, they might be overcharged the tickets price as double.
Okay, before I forget, please don't be ignorance to take maps and all tourist guide pamphlets you see in the airport before make a move. Based on my experience, you would need it every time and everyday. We only used that maps for whole this trip.
Besides, the Paris-underground train system is very easy. I might say, you will need to study the train system first. About 30 minutes later, we reached the place and searching for our accommodation. We thought it easy, but when 'perempuan jalan sama-sama' we got so many arguments and ideas, and finally where're lost. Haha. It took about 2 hours to find the hotel. We were so drained, no kidding and feel hopeless too. We asked people, get back at the same place 2 -3 times. I was so hungry. :(
So finally, we found those hotel. Alhamdulillah. The funny thing is the hotel is just 10 minutes walked from the Train Station. T_T. One whole day was wasted just like that! What a shamed. If only we looked carefully to the signage.
We arrived at the hotel, checked up, went up into the room and everyone felt so tired. Semua da pancit. After some rest, we studied the map, made a plan. What should go first, all sorts of things. Durra, one of my best friends, she was the master of planner for this tripped. Tak rugi bawak dia. hahaha
After discussion, we planned to go to Disneyland, on the 2nd day and visited all the the attractions on the 3rd day.
part continue....
